Here's a drill and another practice opportunity helping to develop successful shot selection and placement. One player starts with 3 balls and drops and hits a sequence for example; deep crosscourt, deep down the line and then short crosscourt. The player then tries to repeat the sequence from a feed. Finally, the player repeats the sequence in a rally. Whenever needed use the drop feeds to re-enforce or isolate a particular area such as follow through or swing speed.  This is a great way to introduce strategy patterns to players.
