This progression drill will help players with their backhand slice. The idea is to let players hit and feel a more solid contact with the first shot, a volley from the Pro's toss. The player then moves back around the second cone and comes in and hits a backhand slice approach on the bounce from the Pro's toss. So on the first feed the player hits it in the air and on the second feed they let it bounce. You can also place extra cones or stations on the side for the players before they move back in line.
